In 2016, the National Council for Gastronomy and Catering got involved in the campaign organised by the Ministry of Finance and entitled “Popieram Loterię Paragonową (eng: I support the Receipt Lottery). The National Receipt Lottery is an educational campaign to raise awareness of Poles that their actions may significantly contribute to increasing the fair trading practices in Poland. Consumers who take receipts at service and trading posts support companies of integrity and healthy competition between them. The members of the National Council for Gastronomy and Catering joined the campaign as well. As a result, restaurants from the associated chains distributed leaflets with information about the lottery. The stickers with the campaign motto on cash desks and in other well visible places were exhibited. The lottery was also promoted at websites of the member companies.
